It's Simple: D.C. Families Deserve Paid Leave

Elissa Silverman led the fight for D.C.’s paid family leave law in her first term on the Council. She spent three years listening to D.C. families about what they needed so they could take care of their aging parents, spend precious moments with newborns and newly adopted children, and get well themselves.

With paid family leave, D.C. workers will have the right to take paid time off of work to care for their families and themselves. That’s what an equitable city does: finds bold solutions for the biggest challenges our families face.

On November 6, Re-Elect Elissa Silverman to Keep Her Fighting for D.C. Families!
